Note to our International Customers: If we are shipping liquids (like polish) to you outside of the USA, Canada, or the UK, we recommend choosing our "UPS" shipping option at checkout. The shipping will cost a little more, but many international postal services won't accept liquids from another country. "UPS" does generally arrive very quickly, around 3-4 days almost anywhere in the world, so you will also get your package faster! If you are confident that you will be able to get liquids past your Customs inspections through the postal service, you can choose USPS as your shipping. Thank you for your understanding!
Working on my first ring, the Black Ice, I thought I'd have to start all over because the CA glue looked really cloudy and didn't let the CZ stones sparkle. Once I started in with the Astro Tech rough polish (Step 1), the inlay REALLY got shiny. This stuff does the job, no doubt.
I finished a Ring, and used your Bottled Polish (1,2,3) and it turned out great. In that moment I saw the ASTRO Polish you send me (1-5), and thought let's try it. You would think that you wouldn't see any difference, but it was the opposite, it was like night and day. I immediately called some of my Rodbuilding colleagues and told them to get it, because we are always looking for a good Polish, since we have large surfaces to Polish up. I studied Ring making to bring the technique of inlays into Rodbuilding and what a ride it has been with Patrick Adair Products.

I'm used to using jewelers rouges and compounds so using liquid polishes for buffing is oddly a bit more difficult for me. I wish I had a better idea of their equivalents and the fineness of their grit aside from words like "medium" and "rough", which don't jive well in my brain when they're supposed to be used after 1000 grit to boot. For me it is messier and I'm unsure about when and how much water to use as compared to more solid polishing materials. I also wish I knew what the ingredients are in the carrier. For me there is definitely a bit of a learning curve involved compared to materials and processes used to make fine jewelry.
I use the Astro tech polish on all my rings unless I use the diamond paste. Gives them the professional look I’m after.
It's okay. I bought another polish from a vendor at our state fair. It is only 1 step and it out shines the 3 step and the 5 step.
