Very thin and flexible

This gold foil is very thin and fragile compared to the stuff you can get at the local art supply store. This is a wonderful attribute for dragging the material around between stones and opals inside the inlay channel. When I have used other foil, even high quality stuff, it holds together more which makes it harder to get subtile patterns and effects as well as hard to get shapes other than unbroken ovals. I love this particular gold foil.
