Bumblebee Jasper Fragments

Bumblebee Jasper is a vibrant variety of calcite, bringing warm yellow hues to any inlay. It is opaque so the yellow color will not be absorbed or affected by other colors around it.

It is a softer mineral, measuring 4 on the Mohs hardness scale. The unique yellow color comes from sulfur and arsenic compounds which are inert when dry but protective measures should be taken to avoid breathing or ingesting the dust.

Found only in Indonesia, Bumblebee Jasper is known to be a healing stone that brings energy, courage, and optimism to the wearer.
