Bumblebee Jasper Fragments

Bumblebee Jasper is a vibrant variety of calcite, bringing warm yellow hues to any inlay. It is opaque so the yellow color will not be absorbed or affected by other colors around it.

It is a softer mineral, measuring 4 on the Mohs hardness scale. The unique yellow color comes from sulfur and arsenic compounds, and professional-level protective measures should be taken to avoid breathing or ingesting the dust. It should also be encased in CA or resin to avoid contact with the skin.

Found only in Indonesia, Bumblebee Jasper is said to be a healing stone that brings energy, courage, and optimism to the wearer.
