Tanzanite is one of the rarest gemstones we sell. Found and mined only within the country of Tanzania, this rare gemstone is taken out of the earth in a gorgeous blue-purple hue. Tanzanite is a harder gemstone with about a 6.5 on the hardness scale. It creates a beautiful contrast against any ring blank desired and is a sure conversation starter.

Each purchase includes 1 gram of Tanzanite, approximately enough to enhance 5 rings. First photo shows approximately 1 gram of material.

The quality seems fine. I was disappionted in the quanity. The images seem to imply a large quantity.

Its my birthstone

I am quite biased with tanzanite but it is a great choice its blue is so beautiful and looks amazing when the ring glows. It is quite durable so be careful sanding it will cut through your sandpaper before you cut it!
