Exactly what I want to use for an art piece depicting corn
I've ordered from PAD and PAS for many years and loved the variety of stones and I've not experienced any disappointment besides this stone I just felt the color that I got wasn't really what was shown on the website and I understand that there is differences and variety from the photos by a bit but I felt my stones I recived were just to dark/brown in my final completion of the ring I didn't feel like I could give it as it was a gift for a friend. Maybe just say at least for this specific color that it might it might come darker than expected!?
Thank you for the opportunity for input have a good one
Hi Mason, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and feedback for us. Opals can be tricky with their undertones and reflective qualities. The opal color is also affected by its surroundings, like the colors of the ring blank and other inlay materials.
Stay tuned--In the next few weeks, we will be adding several yellow options to our Exotic Inlay Materials section of our website. Since yellow is such a light color, you may get better results with opaque inlays when there are competing colors in the ring.
Needed some more opal supplies and decided to mix up the colors this time and was quite pleased with the Marigold Opal for its bright color and sparkle. These are making some nice inserts and polish up quite nice. PAS does it right and has plenty of good supplies for us. Keep it coming.
