This is a classical steak knife to have at your home dinner table. This knife if only available in .098 14C28N, a great high carbon stainless steel and .125" 1095, an all around knife steel. This is a knife blank, meaning that it's a piece of metal cut in the shape of a knife; it isn't sharp and there is no handle. Your job is to turn it into a beautiful knife.
We highly recommend using our 14C28N stainless option for our kitchen knives. The stainless will offer better corrosion resistance and last longer in the kitchen. Otherwise we still offer our 1095 which is still a good all around steel option.
It comes annealed to make shaping your knife easier. Steel will need to be heat treated(hardened) in order to keep an edge.
